A complaint has been filed against Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan for calling BNP Senior Vice-Chairman Tarique Rahman a ‘black sheep’.

Advocate Shamim Kabir Chowdhury, joint secretary of Bangladesh Nationalist Advocates’ Forum, filed the Tk20 crore defamation complaints with Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court on Tuesday morning.

Magistrate Maruf Hossain will pronounce the order later in the day.

On December 19, Shahjahan Khan called Tarique a ‘black sheep’ while addressing a programme in Madaripur.

Earlier, Tarique Rahman, in a programme in London, termed Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman a “big Razakar”.
