A Seattle woman allegedly broke into a man’s apartment and raped him while he slept. An obese woman has been charged with rape after allegedly breaking into a man's apartment, pinning him down and forcing herself onto him while he was sleeping. The victim, 31, told police he woke up with 110kg Chantae Gilman on top of him, with his arms pinned down and her forcing herself onto him, reported the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
Gilman, 28, refused to stop raping the man and told him to be quiet, but he successfully managed to get out from under her and flee his apartment.
a Seattle woman who they say broke into her neighbor's house and proceeded to brutally rape the sleeping man. The victim told police that he was awoken to Gilman sexually assaulting him as he slept after a night of partying. Gilman, a 240-pound mother of four children, continued raping him until the man eventually freed himself from her grip. Once the victim managed to push her out of his apartment, he went to a nearby hospital for a sexual assault examination, an updated report from West Seattle Herald on Sep. 13
After the incident, which took place in June of 2013, doctors were able to determine that the man showed signs of being raped. The researchers used the DNA of the rapist to build the case against Gilman, 28, but the results were not ready until recently. Shortly after the DNA results were revealed, Seattle police issued an arrest warrant for Gilman.
One count of second-degree rape was filed against Gilman and bail was set at $100,000 dollars. A “no contact” order with the victim was also established, according to the Herald's report. “She has not been charged with a rape by forcible compulsion or violence – in this case, she has been charged under the theory that the victim was not able to consent to sexual intercourse by virtue of being unconscious and therefore physically helpless,” Rich Anderson, Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with King County, said.

The Smoking Gun wrote that in a probable cause affidavit prepared by a Seattle Police Department detective, the 31-year-old victim told authorities that while he did not know Gilman, she was an acquaintance of another man who lives in his duplex. The man, whose identity was not revealed, described Gilman as being a well known drug user in the area.
The victim told police he went home alone after attending a birthday party for a neighbor the night of the attack and “slept very hard due to a long day.”
He was awoken at 2 a.m. to find Gilman on top of him with his erect penis inside of her.
The Daily Mail reports the victim’s hands had been “pinned down over his head.”
His pleas for Gilman to get off of him were ignored until he eventually was able to get out from beneath her.
Gilman was removed from the apartment and the victim went to Harborview Medical Center for a sexual assault examination.
Gilman claims she has no memory of entering the victim’s home or having sex with him.
“She said that she has a mental illness and suffers from Bipolar disorder and Psychosis,” Detective Roger Ishimitsu said.
Gilman was a match in a DNA test from the sexual assault kit.

Recent Facebook posts from Gilman state she has been sober for two months and is 31 weeks pregnant. Gilman is the mother of four children and is currently expecting a fifth. The woman has been treated for mental problems and drug abuse in the past, according to a family friend.
Detectives stated it is unusual for a female to be charged with such a crime.
“From a statistical standpoint, yes, it is atypical to have a female aggressor," said Detective Drew Fowler.
