Elizabeth Larrabee Norment was born in 31 December 1952 & died in 13 October 2014, was an American actress. Norment was a graduate of Yale University. She had performed in several theater roles before moving into television.
It's a very sad time for the cast and crew of "House of Cards."
Elizabeth Norment who is best known for her role as loyal secretary to Kevin Spacey's character Frank Underwood in the popular political drama Netflix series, has passed away, says CNN.
Beau Willimon, creator of "House of Cards" expressed a great sorrow on behalf of the show.
"Everyone at 'House of Cards' is deeply saddened by Elizabeth's passing. She was a talented actress, a warm soul, and a good friend to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time", telling to CNN.

Even the show's production company, Media Rights Capital, has publicly reacted to Norment's death. In a statement to CNN, the company sent well-wishes to all those affected. "Elizabeth Norment was a talented actress with a beautiful spirit who touched the entire 'House of Cards' family. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends." In her career, Norment played a wide range of roles. She starred as Judge Arlene Brewer on "Law & Order", in 2008. She also performed in "ER," "St. Elsewhere," "Party of Five" and "Blue Bloods," as well as playing Eunice Kennedy in the TV miniseries "Robert Kennedy and His Times."
